Barry Bailey - Managing Director
Barry joined us in 1993 as self employed carpenter. His capacity for hard work coupled with motivation saw him move quickly up the ranks to become a foreman and he was appointed the construction manager in 1998, general manager in 2000 and is now the Managing Director. Having been involved in the trade since the age of 16, Barry has extensive experience within the construction industry and has won numerous regional and national awards of excellence from the NHBC. He has ambitious plans to lead the company forward as a dynamic and innovative organisation that builds good quality environmentally sensitive homes at affordable prices.

Charles Howeson - Executive Chairman
Charles Howeson joined the company in August 2003 as the Rowe Group's first non-family Chairman. He also chairs a number of other West Country enterprises including Crownhill Estates. Charles started his career in the Royal Navy, retiring from the post of Chief of Allied Staff in Gibraltar in 1991. In the early 90's Charles embarked on a commercial career with a passion to lead the way in urban regeneration and regional economic development.

He is a respected leader both nationally and internationally and holds a range of other Directorships and Government appointments.

George Wilkinson - Non-executive Director
George is a partner with Ashfords, one of the region's leading law firms, where he specialises in mainstream corporate and commercial law.

Based in the Plymouth Office, George advises clients across the whole region, and has particular experience advising large family businesses. In addition to his law practice, George is involved in the wider business community in the South West, including several board level positions for other businesses, as well as public speaking at legal and professional seminars.

Jason Rowe - Non-executive Director
Jason Rowe joined the company in 1982. As a Director, he oversees the general operation of the Rowe Group of Investments and takes particular interest in the strategic planning and growth of the group as a whole. Jason recognises value in the involvement and participation of all those employed under the Rowe name and aims for a culture of unity both within and around the company.

Matthew Rowe - Non-executive Director
Matthew Rowe joined the company in 1986 and as a Director, oversees the smooth operation of the entire group with a keen eye for detail and strategic intent. He plays an active part in the joint decision-making responsibilities of the Board and is instrumental in providing the group with direction, liaising from time to time with key personnel in his team of employees.

Christopher Rowe - Non-executive Director
Christopher Rowe joined the Company in 1989 and takes a keen interest in all company investments, sitting as a Director on all subsidiary Boards.

As a Director, he supports the strategic growth effort and direction of the Group. Chris has a strong interest particularly in the company's property investments and has an in-depth understanding of the market. His skills mean he can recognise both short and long-term objectives and opportunities to grow and strengthen the portfolio.

Colin Truscott - Non-executive Director
After obtaining a Physics degree at King's College, London Colin Truscott qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. A move to local Truro firm Lang Bennetts saw Colin become a partner dealing with a wide variety of local and international businesses, a position he still holds. In addition to his accountancy practice Colin has a number of non-executive directorship roles and trusteeships.

Neil Cotterill - Group Company Secretary
Neil Cotterill has worked for the Group for over 26 years. He was appointed Group Company Secretary during 2000. Over the years he has taken responsibility for a wide range of duties and retains an overview of legal matters and group insurances, and has actively supported the development of Managers and the re-organisation of the Group companies.

Primarily he has played an active role in the management of the core assets of property investment, has instigated the property portfolio strategy, negotiated the funding arrangements for its' future diversification and enhanced growth value. He was appointed Managing Director of Rowe Estates during 2004 and is implementing the Sales and Purchases of Property from the business plan
